December 2021 Newsletter

Dear sed-DNA enthusiasts,

This is the first version of the newsletter that is sent through the new google groups, rather than the MailChimp tool that you are used to. To make the mails less cumbersome to read and reduce the risk the newsletters are ending up in the spam folder. We are now only sending the general introduction of the newsletter through email every first Friday of the month with a single web link to the specific edition of the newsletter on the new society website.

We as the organization and advisory board would like to already wish everyone a great holiday season. We are looking forward to many new initiatives that will be starting in the new year!

December society seminar

Eric Capo will dgive a short talk about "A full-year of trying to recover sediment ancient metagenomes from the Baltic Sea: torn between fun and despair" - 16 December 4 pm UTC+1. Zoom link will be send by calender invite
