May 2023 Newsletter

Dear sed-DNA enthusiasts,

Time flies by and we're already in the month of May. We are thrilled to highlight that the first SedDNA Meeting is just around the corner! From the 6th to the 9th of June 2023, we'll be gathering in Potsdam, Germany. If you haven't registered yet, don't worry, there's still time. However, please note that registration closes today. More than 100 people have already signed up, and we're looking forward to having you join us. You can register by clicking here.

We would like to remind everyone that it's now easier than ever to share your latest research with the society. You can simply fill out an easy Google form to notify us of any new papers, preprints, PhD theses, or other publications you would like to share in our newsletter. Not only will your publications be highlighted in the newsletter, but they will also be added to our society's literature archive, which you can access here. We welcome all forms of research and look forward to sharing your work with the community. We are grateful to everyone who has already used the form. We only added papers to the newsletter that were published in the previous month.

We're excited to continue our series of society e-coffees, and we invite everyone to join us for our next gathering on Wednesday, May 10th, at 9:00 AM (UTC+1). We'll also be hosting another e-coffee on Wednesday, May 24th. Come and enjoy some digital coffee while engaging in social chats in Gathertown. To ensure you don't miss out, we'll be sending calendar invites a few days before the event via our email list and society Slack channel. All are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you there!
